Inspired by the Japanese practice of Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku) and mindfulness, our women-only sessions are a space for you to connect with nature, learn new skills, have a chat over a campfire cuppa and dedicate some time to your own well-being.

Why the woods?

Our woodland is beautiful in all weathers and seasons and spending time there always makes us smile!

Scientists have now proven what we felt all along - Spending time in the forest is good for us! Studies have suggested that connecting with nature: reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, improves immunity and accelerates recovery from illness or trauma.

Why take time for yourself?

You can’t pour from an empty cup!

We need to take care of ourselves first!

Our world is so full of pressure and expectation, endless to do lists and the media telling us we simply aren’t enough. Well we say enough! Take some time just for yourself, reconnect with how you are feeling, have a giggle, chat around the campfire and learn some new skills!

What to expect

Our 3 hour sessions all take place in our beautiful woodland in Hanham, Bristol.

Every session will include a campfire with hot drinks and snacks.

There will be creative activities to join in with or crafts made from woodland materials.

Every session will include times of reflection and short mindfulness exercises to allow you to check in with how you are feeling.

There will be no compulsory activities and everything is opt-in at your own time and pace.

Each session is 3 hours.

Spaces are limited so booking in advance is essential.

Sessions take place in all weathers except high winds. You will be notified and refunded if a session has to be cancelled due to staff illness or adverse weather.

 

Bookings are non-refundable.
