Our aim is to provide magical woodland adventures in the forest for children of all ages.

Each session is different depending on the season, the children's interests, the weather and whatever else may come up in the woods!
Each session will include games, creative activities, free play and a reflection or circle time.
Forest Friends activities include:
• Woodland and nature exploration
• Building dens and other structures
• Fires and cooking
• Games and invitations for imaginative play
• Natural crafts
• Using tools, such as knives and saws
• Scavenger hunts and adventure
• Seasonal celebrations
All activities are dependent on the experience, ability and enthusiasm of the participants.

Who?
Forest Friends takes place in Cleeve Wood, Hanham - a private woodland near to The Old Lock and Weir and Chequers pubs. The postcode is BS15 3NU.
Where?
Forest Friends is a small, independent business based in Hanham, Bristol, providing magical woodland adventures for children and their parents.
Our Ethos
We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore and play in a woodland; interacting with and learning from nature. We firmly believe that giving everyone the opportunity to play and interact in a woodland environment will have a positive and long lasting impact on their emotional, social and physical wellbeing.
We hope to foster within our participants a sense of awe and wonder about the forest and a life-long love of nature and the natural world.
Participants in Forest Friends will learn new skills while taking risks, getting muddy and having fun in the woods!
About Nicola
Forest Friends was started by Nicola Gliddon in 2016. She has over 10 years experience of working with children, is a qualified primary school teacher and is a qualified Forest School leader (L3).
She believes that children need more opportunities to play outside and interact with nature. She is fully insured, DBS checked and 'Outdoor First Aid' qualified.
